How it works

Three ways, all simple. Spindle shows you the first time you open it. (The app speaks Turkish for now.)

Each key has a color, so you can find what you want at a glance: documents blue, PDF red, photos green, video purple, music orange.

Make a photo smaller, turn it, or remove its location. Take the sound out of a video, or keep only the song.

  • Compress → photo (sıkıştırılmış).jpg
  • Shrink by 50% → photo (küçük).jpg
  • Remove location and camera info → photo (temiz).jpg
  • Rotate left / right, black and white

Turns it into a ZIP that Windows opens on its own.

  • Extract to folder → a folder named after the archive

For every file and folder: zip, copy path (Ctrl)8 types

The result is always saved next to the original. Nothing is overwritten; if the name exists it becomes report 2.pdf.
rule_2.txt
The wheel only shows keys that fit the file; the format it already has isn't shown. If you select several files, you get what they all share.
rule_3.txt
If something is missing, like Microsoft Office or the free music and video add-on, those keys are dimmed. Photos and ZIPs always work.

Output names such as (sıkıştırılmış) "compressed", (küçük) "small", (temiz) "clean" come from the interface, which is in Turkish for now.

Open itOpen the Spindle.exe you downloaded. If Windows says it "protected your PC", click More info, then Run anyway.
2.txt
It sets itself upSpindle adds itself to your Start menu and shows you how it works. That's it.
3.txt
Use itDrag a file, press Shift, drop. To remove it, go to Windows Settings, then Apps.

For Windows 10 and 11. Word, Excel and PowerPoint files need Microsoft Office. If Windows asks for the ".NET Desktop Runtime", it's free from Microsoft.
